The extent of the disaster in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast from Hurricane Katrina seems overwhelming, but there are things we can do to help.

The Ancient Order of Druids in America (AODA) has set up a Red Cross Fund and they are using a blanket "Druid" donation. The AODA is also raising funds to support Red Cross efforts to help survivors of Katrina.
Donations can be sent via PayPal, payable to, or by mail to AODA, PO Box 1181, Ashland OR 97520, payable to AODA. Please mark all donations for Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund. They plan on passing on these funds in the name of the whole Druid community, not just AODA alone.

Pagan Pride is also helping to raise funds. Click here for info.

From Maria Raven: Animal rescue from the hurricane flood waters: North Shore Animal League is sending down trailers to help rescue animals and bring them to shelters in new york. 6th Night Grove has set up a PayPal account for donations: "If anyone wishes to contribute directly to the American Red Cross via our web site, it is up and running. All contributions will be forwarded to the American Red Cross under the name of ADF."
