2005 May Crowning

Like last year, The Ancient Order of Groovy Pajamas organized our traditional May Crowning, with songs, flowers and procession. 14 ex-Catholics and other interested persons attended. We all dressed up, sang songs and hymns, and talked about how Mary got many of us started on our paths. The flowers and candles and shells and other items offered to the many different Madonnas made a beautiful altar under the grape arbor. The flowers were later placed on veterans' memorials for Memorial Day
