Our tenth annual beach offering to the Goddess Yemaya, a ritual usually held in warmer climes, which this year fell on one of the coldest days of the winter for us. Deb led the rit and still took off her boots and got her feet wet. 5 attended this year, offering melon boats with flowers and joss paper to the goddess and to the ocean and the Jersey Shore. We fed the seagulls, then retired to a warm diner for food and conversation.
